This Sugarbox donuts donuts are made with potato flour, which gives them the perfect texture--light, fluffy, and just the right amount of chew. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. I've ordered from them a few times for my kids' classroom birthday parties, and they always impress! The special occasion designs are super fun and creative--huge hit with the kids and the parents. Definitely my go-to spot for something delicious and unique.

I give it a 4 star for the customer service they are always so happy and friendly. The donuts are fluffy and unique but can tend to be more on the epensice side for some of their donuts and juicess. But their coffee is pretty good. The Maple Bar is the favorite here

When it comes to donuts, I am a purist and will continue to support my local mom-and-pop donut shops around the corner. However don't let the bright lights and pink neon turn you away from Sugarbox because this is a family owned business offering a great selection of donuts and breakfast foods. Sugarbox Donuts is located inside a shopping plaza in West Hills at the intersection of Sherman Way and Shoup. There's plenty of free parking and an outdoor patio to sit down. Coincidentally I stopped by Sugarbox yesterday for a ham and cheese croissant ($6) and I was able to meet Cindy. From the moment she said good morning, Cindy was beyond kind and so personable. She also recommended for me to return on Election Day with my "I voted" sticker so I can redeem a free donut which I did without hesitation. Thank you to Cindy at Sugarbox for helping me get my last two days started with positive vibes. It also doesn't hurt that these donuts photograph really well!

Super cute fancy donuts along with the classics. This bakery is a really nice addition to this kind of weird, dated strip mall. The employees were so friendly and the shop is small but has a very fresh, bright, and cute design. So many donut shops are drab and depressing inside. There are a couple small tables to sit outside, but no seating inside. Big free parking lot :)

I had custom donuts ordered for my son's birthday and it came out so nice! Everyone enjoyed the donuts. They are a bit pricey, but it taste great! They are also great with customer service. I would recommend ordering it for special occasions. I went there to see the regular donuts ..the prices they are definitely more expensive than other donut shops. One donuts cost about $4. I like that it's made out of potato flour, it was soft and chewy!

Finally got to try the donuts here! I've even wanting to try their decorative donuts and after reading the good reviews. The donuts are made out of potato flour which I've never had. I was really impressed how they were able to make some of the donuts I wanted that they were out of! The lady next to me ordering asked if they can make her a strawberry shortcake and they did so I asked for them to make me one too! They also made me a fresh s'mores donut. I tried their Matcha donut. Usually those are a hit or miss and with this one, I wasn't too crazy about. I got an Oreo one, Reese's pieces one and Nutella filled. To be honest, I guess because of the potato flour, the donuts were a little dry and plain. Overall the customer service and inside was nice. Out of all the ones I tried, I liked the strawberry shortcake.

This family-owned bakery is known for crafting donuts that aren’t just delicious—they’re experiences in themselves. Using premium potato flour and only the finest ingredients, Sugarbox Donuts delivers a texture that’s light, fluffy, and instantly addictive.

Sugarbox Donuts combines tradition with playful creativity

With over 40 years of baking mastery, Sugarbox Donuts has mastered the balance of honoring old-school methods while pushing the boundaries of what a donut can be. Each pastry is made fresh daily, and the variety is jaw-dropping—from classic glazed rings to filled creations bursting with personality.

Sugarbox Donuts gains national attention for its bonut

One of Sugarbox Donuts’ most memorable innovations is the bonut, which took the spotlight on The Big Bakeover. Imagine this: a soft, fluffy donut filled with homemade cream and bursting with fresh boba pearls. It’s the kind of flavor fusion you didn’t know you needed until you try it. This is what sets Sugarbox apart—a fearless approach to flavor and form.

The bonut is a perfect example of EVA (Entity-Attribute-Value) integration in practice: Donut (Entity), Texture (Attribute), Fluffy and boba-filled (Value). The way they blend popular dessert trends like boba with traditional pastry showcases both their creativity and their finger on the pulse of food culture.

Sugarbox Donuts reflects deep expertise and community trust

This isn’t just a shop—it’s a community cornerstone. Locals know the team by name, and visitors quickly realize why the shop has a cult following. Every donut is served with warmth and pride. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the legacy of a brand built on integrity, expertise, and consistency.

Sugarbox Donuts also builds trust by maintaining ingredient transparency and hygiene standards. They keep things simple, honest, and high-quality—just as any great bakery should.

Sugarbox Donuts offers a visually delightful retail experience

The shop itself is charming and welcoming. With bright displays and a tempting scent that greets you at the door, the experience is both sensory and sentimental. It’s not uncommon to see a family excitedly picking out donuts together, or someone pausing mid-bite to savor every flavor-packed second.

Their wheelchair-accessible location and convenient takeout options ensure inclusivity and flexibility for every customer. Whether you’re grabbing a dozen on your way to work or stopping by for an afternoon pick-me-up, you’re guaranteed something unforgettable.

Sugarbox Donuts turns dessert into a celebration

What truly defines Sugarbox Donuts is the way they turn an everyday treat into a moment of joy. From custom orders for special occasions to impromptu visits that lift your mood, they understand that a donut isn’t just food—it’s comfort, celebration, and connection.

With each bite, you’re reminded of the love and artistry that goes into the process. And with every visit, you’re reminded why this local legend has stood the test of time.
